It happened in Tunbridge Wells (is it just me, or would that make a good horror movie title?), and it never really happened, anyway. The "Batman" photo was a stunt by national reporters (from the Guardian, I think), because they couldn't be bothered to check what costume he was supposed to be wearing. And then it all turned out to be a hoax, anyway....
