My own rate is about 225 to 250 which is below average and expecially low among college-educated people. A high reading rate is a wonderful time-saving gift, and a moderater for a forum like this would almost certainly have to be one of the gifted.
How would one go about testing one's reading rate? I often suspect that I read slower than average for someone with my hobbies and level of education, but I've never known of a good way to check.
