Type 2, I think. The doctor just said mild. He wants me to stay off artificial sweetners for the first 6 weeks of testing. After that, I think I'll try some. I've always avoided artificial sweeteners, decafinated coffee, flavor enhansers, artificial colors and such chemical stuff, so I don't know much about them. I guess that will have to change.

On the upside, having no dessert has caused me to loose several pounds a week and my 8-year-old grandaughter said, "Where's your belly, Poppop?"

It's hard to believe I have any health problems, because I feel great almost all of the time.

Thanks for the tip. I think I have seen Splenda in stores, or ads maybe.
