If I had actually gone for a joyride around the empty concourse, I imagine some guard from the bowels of the building would have emerged to harass me. I left a note at the customer information booth requesting that they either hide away such equipment or affix signs to them clearly permitting public enjoyment.

About ten years ago, I went to sleep in the Atlanta airport. It was very busy when I went to sleep and I woke up to find the lights turned way down and not a person in sight. After a few minutes, I saw a couple of housekeeping people emptying trash cans. It was about an hour before the lights came back up and people started dragging in.

It was a little sp@@ky there for a few minutes.
