I don't know as he cared much for baseball... he loved to play the market, that much I remember. I believe when he retired he had in the neighborhood of forty-seven jillion dollars that he made trading stocks and such... his house (for when he wasn't living in the locker) was this big, palatial affair. It was a literal mansion. And this guy taught at a public high school!
