Unfortunately it's dashed difficult to find any of his work these days, but for someone who appreciates Plum's mastery of the English language it's well worth the search. I'd recommend "Cugel's Saga" as the optimal starting point for a Wodehouse fan, but "Araminta Station" is also great and might be a bit easier to find. > > Were "The bird in the flesh, by jingo! If you want Jack Vance, I can reccomend the Tales of the Dying Earth collection. It's probably the easiest of his books to find, though they seem to be coming back into fashion. Unfortunatly of the 50 Dying Earth stories he wrote, I've only been able to find the four in that collection ("The Dying Earth", "The Eyes of the Overworld", "Cugel's Saga" and "Rhialto the Marvellous"). All very well written and highly reccomended.
