Just last night, the Southeastern Cushman Club wound up a three day meet in Philadelphia, TN. I'm tired but it was a great meet. We meet twice a year and each meet is bigger and better than the last one. The best part is when somebody who is not into scooters, chances by the meet and walks through just out of curiosity. They see my fifty-two-year-old scooter and have a nostalgia attack:
"I had one just like that when I was a kid!"

I saw that happen three times and they all spent more than a half-hour looking and drooling and asking questions. It happens to everybody in the club from time to time.

Another reaction that I like is:
"What in the world is that one? I never saw one like that before!" Guys like me, with the old step thru's, hear that all the time. I love it.
