My favorite error messages.

From the first day that I got online, I have been threatened by my own computer with this line: "This program has performed and illegal function and will be shut down." It sounds like crime and punishment but I never hear sirens or see flashing lights. Only once or twice has it actually carried throught with the threat. I usually just X it and go on about my business.
Then comes this harmless little note: "Photo Deluxe has a file problem." Again, I just X it and it goes away.
And then I get this one a lot: "Norton AntiVirus was unable to send your email message because the connection to your mail server was interrupted. Please open your email client and re-send your message from the Sent Messages folder." This one generally works, which makes it unique among error messages. You have to love an error message like that.
Then I get: "The Multipass Hardware could not be initalized." I found the word "Multipass" on my printer. Do you suppose it has something to do with that?
And the most frustrating error message of all time, and I get it every Friday: "The virus scan has failed because a citical error occured during the scan." I have no clue what the error was or why it is so critical. Would it kill the computer to tell me a little more?
While I was typing this in, I got kicked off line. The only error message I got was a curt "BingBong" and I was off. I know how to fix that problem. Howard
