There aren't many differences. There's something we call "International French", wich is basically, well, actual French without regionalism.
The sticky wicket is the technical term. IE, email. Until recently, the accepted term in France was mèl, wich... Well, it's like spelling email differently, and forgeting the e. Québec had courriel, and the Académie Française finally accepted that... Two months ago?
Chatting, in Québec, is know as clavardage. In France, I believe it's Tchatter. With a T.
There's a big socio-cultural thing to explain why they use bastardized English words and we don't, but... I won't get into that.
