Here's another suggestion, by the way. I really wouldn't mind if the banner advertising went up a little (that's provided the banners pay you per view, not per click). For example, adding banners at the bottom of pages, amongst all the legalese and information, wouldn't bother anyone and might increase revenue.

Or, alternatively, you could go via the extremely cheesy and tacky option of making people click on a banner to get to another part of the site. Not sure how you could do that, but the previously-mentioned another.com *sign of the cross* made you click an ad banner to log out. I'm sure that must have helped a bit.
