Sooner or later, it will give you trouble. Seeds are bad for old intestines. Mine are a few years older than yours and -- take my word for it -- you may wind up with a painful, inflamed bowel. You digest the inside part of that seed, but the outside just passes through. Or maybe not. If it doesn't, you have trouble.

> I found this page looking for "sunflower seed shells" in google. I've been eating sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds since I was a kid. The thing is I eat the seed, shell, and all. Since I'm still doing it at 62 I'm beginning to wonder if there is some negative heath aspect to the practice especially at my age. Of course I eat things like habenaro (and all other sorts of)hot peppers on a regular basis so maybe they cancel each other out (:{]).
