Never Rains But it Pours

I'm waiting for the next bomb to hit.
I've been thinking about Murphy's Law lately. "Whatever can go wrong, will." I think it needs some tweaking. How about, "Whatever can go wrong, won't, until there are at least three or four things ready to go wrong, and then they'll all go wrong at once."
Last Thursday night we'd just gone to bed. The washing machine was running through load of clothes, and it had just finished the rinse cycle and was starting to drain for the spin. We then hear this weird bubbling noise coming from the bathroom. I check it out, and is some very nasty, dirty water bubbling up through the drain in the tub. In both bathrooms. And out of the base of the toilets as well.
So we get a plumber out to fix it the next day. Sewer stoppage. Ew. We had sewer water in our bathtubs. $105.
The next day I had our car into the shop for an oil change, but also to check out a weird vibration that's been coming from the front driver's side tire when I turn right. Wheel bearing will need to be replaced in a couple months. I didn't ask what the estimated cost is going to be; we already owe them $300.
The icing on the cake, of course, was Sunday's computer death which I already posted about. Only an $80 or so fix, but that's $80 we don't have right now. I should have my PC up and running again by Labor Day. I hope.
So I'm waiting for the next bomb to drop.
