I happen to have a director friend. He directed one of the Pink Panther movies and the Christy series for TV. He told me more good movies would be made if there were more good scripts written. Seriously. He said cheap scripts are easy to churn out, good ones are hard to find. Directors are longing for good scripts. That's one of the goals my daughter and I have - to write a good movie script. Easier said than done.
