While I was concerned about those who may have missed the memolist for some reason, I should also have thought about those who haven't had much of an introduction to roleplaying games at all but who find they might be interested in playing a game online which is more extensive, in both length and depth of play, than, say, a bot game or a game of Werewolf.

The info in the link given by Faux Pas is a pretty good general overview, and I would encourage anyone, regardless of experience with RPGs, to sign up for the memolist if you are at all interested in playing. I'll be getting out some preliminary info soon.
