Every now and then, I drive past the house I lived in before we moved to DC. There's a flowering dogwood in the front yard, and it has definitely shrunk. It has a very nifty trunk that goes up for a bit and then horizontal, forming a nice little seat that was a MILLION FEET UP and really hard to get into.

Now, it's three feet off the ground. I don't know what happened.
