LOL, ok, one thing to set straight: Joost van den Vondel was a dutch guy, from the Netherlands, not flemish, from Belgium.
But in the century he lived Belgium didnt exist yet, it was all the Netherlands: flemish part of Belgium, dutch part of the (real) Netherlands; it was all the same.

I can sure translate some poems, but, lol, prob is that a translation looses his strenght, and secondly, the lyrics are written in Old-Dutch or Old-Flemish as you wish, which i can understand, and read (its familiar to nowadays South-African, my idea, lol), but its really beautifull to understand it the way it is written...

I'll give it a try one of these days! The second page (i didnt read it completely!) tells the life of Vondel, with his early poems, his history, and so on...
When i find a beautifull one, i'll translate it to ya! You know whats funny and cool? That second page is completely (more or less) written in Old-Dutch, so not only the poems are in its original text, but also the one who wrote the text about Vondel, wrote this in Old-Dutch; funny...
