So I've never figured out a definitive way to type out the pronounciation of "Gahalia". Guh-hay-le-uh is an approximation, as is "Ga-hail-ee-ia. But in the novel, the h is a separate syllable - more like Guh-h-ale-ee-yuh. (I say "in the novel" because I don't expect anyone to pronounce the name that way, especially when I don't even want to.) At least "Gay-ul-in" is a bit easier than *that*!
