I'm as shocked as anyone to say this, but yeah, I'd have to say that Keanu Reeves actually did a decent job. Not brilliant, but not bad: not once was I jarred from the movie from a weak acting moment.
On the other hand, I'm not sure he *was* required to do any more acting than he did in the first movie. I, as others, always went on the assumption that the sequels would naturally demand more of him, but I honestly don't think Reloaded did. The Wachowskis have a way, a pretty amazing way when you think about it, of directing around him, playing to his strengths and rendering his weaknesses mostly irrelevant.
