Everyone in Zion manages to wear slinky, sexy clothing that reveals more than it hides, and despite everyone's obvious ability to choose their clothing, soldiers on ships wear the rattiest, drabbest, threadbare clothing they can find. Like my friend Kevin said, "You only get one shirt, soldier; don't lose it". > > LOL!! YES! I wondered about the clothes, too.
Oh yeah, that was great. The other Zion thing I found hilarious was the juxtaposition of the scene in which they fly into the incredibly high-tech futuristic hidden city in their incredibly high-tech futuristic magic underground spaceship, and then when the pod bay doors close after them, you see that they're operated by huge rusty cogwheels and counterweights. Ok, whatever. The Zionites are kind of like the space hippies in Star Trek: Insurrection. They have all this amazing technology, but they apparently like to use it very, very selectively.
Also, I'm thinking Zion is a torus, since Engineering Level is described as being both "up" and "down" from where Keanu and that old guy were standing, mere seconds apart.
