I'm fairly sure I know where they are, and I think there must be something I need that I don't have already. Most other people at my point seem to have stuff like dynamite, matches, a noise filter headset, peryolithium key etc. Here's my inventory:

Thank you! I now have the gold key, the tranquilizer gun, 2 dynamite sticks (used in CQ1), the wrench, the noise-filter thingie etc but I still can't get into the sandstone caverns. New inventory:
2 Nanoxite Stones
Passcard (CQ60537)
Dragon Key
Noise Filter Headset
Washcloth
Leather Briefcase
Supply Room Card
Crowbar
Knife
Round Pot
Metal Briefcase
Mine Access Card
ight Tube
ISO Energy Pulse Gun
Small Mirror
Employment Papers
OSA Card
Radio Receiver
Tranquilizer Gun
Sleeping Pills
ISO Accident Report
Izacladia Access Card
Fire Extinguisher
Military Uniform
Rock
Scrap of Paper
Business Card
Crank
ISO Officer's Cap
Tranquilizer Spray
I.D. Card
Gold Key
Pickaxe
Pet Snacks
Passcard (CQ30021)
Vault Key
Wrench
Matches
I feel bad about asking again - I know the text-adventurish feeling of "I wish I'd worked that out myself" but I really don't know what to do. I either splat my head on a jutting-out rock, or a mine-cart shoots past or I get told it's too dark. *sob*
