My two sisters are planning a trip to Nova Scotia. We tried to work one out last year but it fell through. This one is for July or August and I guess we will meet in Portland. The one in Maine, that is. It would be five of us including the two surviving spouses. We plan to ride a ferry from Portland to Yarmouth or some such port, and then rent a car. I've been looking at Nova Scotia on the map and it is big. We can't cover it all in a few days, but maybe we can go over to the Bay of Fundy and watch the tide go in and out. I know that doesn't sound very exciting, but they assure me that it is. My younger sister who lives in Bedford, Mass. (Not to be confused with New Bedford.) has been there.
Some people think I travel a lot, but I haven't been anywhere compared to my two sisters. The one in Bedford has covered Europe from end to end and likes islands in the Atlantic and Mediterannean. The other one prefers the Pacific and has covered most of it*. But she once took a detour to Greece, Turkey and Egypt. Both of them have pretty well covered the British Isles. It's in our blood. I guess that is the most expensive blood disorder there is.
I didn't spell check any of this. Howard
*Except maybe Japan.
