license plate

Did I mention that I bought a 1933 Tennessee license plate a few weeks ago? It wasn't in very good condition and somebody had sprayed cheap black paint all over, I guess to hide the rust. I gave ten bucks for it. Why? Beats me, unless it's because I was born in 1933. I wish it had been a Kentucky plate, because I was born in Kentucky, but I live in Tennessee so this one will have to do.

But what can I do with a 70 year-old license plate? It's the car size, and won't fit on a motor scooter. Besides, I don't have a scoot that old. I guess I'll repaint it, but if I put it on the front of my truck, it will be stolen immediately, and even if it doesn't, it will get beat up in parking lots.

It's hanging on the wall in my shop, but usually there is no one to see it but me. There is a 1932 Tennessee plate in the garage,(Someone gave it to me.) so maybe I should put them together and call them a "collection."

Any suggestions? (No, not eBay.)
