Although all of his books I've read so far have been set on Earth, they've all been a SFish future Earth that is quite different from the one we live in (with the possible exception of _A Scanner Darkly_)
Which book would be good to get me hooked on his writings? Like with OSC it would be Ender's Game, then move on from there. What would be PKD's Ender's Game to get me started with him. Remember, I'm very picky when it comes to books. I'm not the type to really "wait cause it get's good", I want the whole thing to be good. Actually I would rather it start good then get sucky later, at least it would get me hooked on the story making me have to finish the book to know how it ends. That's what sucked about Xenocide and CotM being so boring... I wanna know what happened with ender!!! Anyways, I want to thank you for your wisdom in this and would appreciate just a little more. G'day!
