Here's the thing: so I found the soothsayer a long time ago, and started getting gold pieces and bringing them to her after I read that she wanted gold. When I brought her my first gold piece, though, I tried to just give it to her, and I think she took it without telling me anything. Since then, I've gotten other info and a ring from her, but I'm wondering if there's anymore gold in the game. Did I screw up?
