My grand daughter had a big dog and a small cat. She named them Maxi and Mini. I heard about a cat and dog combo named Fido and Fluffy. Fido was the cat.

I like animals named for famous people like presidents. I think Garfield started it. I know a lady who named her cat Millard Filmore, and I read about some kids who named their dogs Clinton and Bush. My grandson has a friend with a dog named Jesse Jackson. I'm sure that somewhere there are pets named J Lo, Jeff Gordon, and Rodney Dangerfield. The possibilites are limitless. If the dog has big ears, name him for some big-earred person.
