I made it back... posted by Kelly on Wednesday, September 8, 1999, at 12:50:23:
> Well, it took almost 2 months, but I made it back to RinkWorks. My company has a "net-nanny" called Websense that blocked my access to RinkWorks for some idiotic reason. When I tried to access the site, the Websense page would be displayed with a message saying that I couldn't access RinkWorks because of "inappropriate content". > > I have no idea why it did that, but I kept trying every few days or so and now it lets me in. I have AOL, and all of a sudden, for no reason at all (my Parental Controls are set on "Mature Teen", which blocks users from certain sites, instead of blocking all but certain sites), it said that I am not allowed to visit this site because, for some reason or another, it has inappropriate content. The only way I'm able to talk today is by using my dad's computer, which is not hooked up to AOL. However, this is not a good solution, because I am at my mom's house most of the time. It's great to be back. Imagine my surprise when I went to the "submit a trivia question", I found that there were 147 questions in "cow trivia". I started this category, and last time I saw it it had about 70 or 80 questions, almost all of them sent in by me. What a pleasant surprise. Keep sending in those cow questions, people!
