Things got much better as I got more opportunities to talk to people about the experience, and start to forget some of the images. Sometimes, I'm thankful for my lousy memory. ;-)

I'm very thankful for that too. I'm hoping to get a chance to speak with him again, but so far, I've not wanted to call the police or the hospital because the bad weather has left them swamped, and I'd rather not add to the problems.
