Accusing women who have abortions of 'genocide' is just sensationalism. A bunch of unrelated women making independent choices to end their children's lives womb-side could possibly be murder, but genocide is the organized killing of a group of people.
However, you might be able to say that the people who perform the abortions are on a campaign of genocide against the unborn. Correct me if I'm wrong here, but the most common reason for an abortion is that the child is 'unwanted', rather than forseen medical complications on the part of the mother or a stillborn fetus.
So, people are ridding themselves of an unwanted group, not caring if said group wishes to exist, or if it even wishes at all and depreciating the element's value (and rationalizing?) by relegating it to the status of subhumanity or property. It all just sounds too familiar.
