And besides that, the kilogram is a unit of mass, not of weight. So 2.2 kilograms at 1g is the same as 2.2 kilograms at 2g or 0g or .6g. Can't say the same about the pound, though--you have to use slugs if you want to really talk about mass in the Imperial system.
