I know what you mean. My parents bought an old used volvo ffor like 3000 CD when I started driving. They figured that I might as well have as mich of a chance before I get that 50 years of experience. About 2 years after I got my licence I hit a moose. Now the death rate for a full head on collision with a moose is about 40%. I walked away. The pillar supporting the roof on the drivers side was bent inwards (toward my head) by 3 inches. Really in any car not built likea take i would have been de3ad and maybe the other 4 people in the car too.
How do you tell you parents thank you for something like that.
