I think of myself as new in that most of the unspoken rules and traditions were established long before I came. That doesn't mean that I don't feel that I belong. So many people here have been simply wonderful in making me feel accepted and special especially at times when there was no one else in my life doing so.

I'll be forever grateful for those people. One thing that this thread has made me consider is that rather than leaving the lobby when I don't see anyone that I know that I want to talk to I should go in and meet or get to know better other people and maybe I can pass on the wonderful feelings that others have given to me. Maybe I can be the cause of a smile that brightens someone else's day as many of you have done for me.
