I think I feel like dave about chats and AIM (though not about "live journals" or whatever other type of this thing one uses) and that may be why, for the past three or four years I have never really felt a part of the comunity here. I already have close friends and I make new ones at random occasionaly, but I would rather have conversations with them than try to participate in a group conversation. There was a time when I loved chatrooms, but I seem to have changed. There is also that sense that I'm ignoring someone if I'm idle on chat but not if i'm idle on a messanger.
