I'm sure I've told you this already, but it bears repeating. One thing you want to make sure you do is put lots of buzzwords in your resume. If the job says it requires PhotoShop knowledge, make sure you put the word "PhotoShop" somewhere in your resume if you even have a remote idea how to use it. This is because the first screening (since so many applicants are recieved for each position) is generally done by a computer, which is just blindly programmed to spit out resumes with certain buzzwords the employer is looking for. It doesn't do you any good to be a whiz at some program just like PhotoShop, and have a resume that makes it clear that you could pick up PhotoShop in about four seconds thanks to your experience with this other program and your years of experience in field X if your resume never gets seen by a human because the computer didn't see the magic word "PhotoShop" on your resume.
The first section of my resume is my buzzwords section. It's labeled "Hardware and Software" and is a list of EVERY system I have ever so much as touched on the job (or had experience with at home, even). This way I hope to pop out of the machine and get to the next level of (HOPEFULLY HUMAN) screening. A real human will just skim this section and move on to the real meat of the resume, my job history--but it's that first section that gets me *to* the real human, hopefully. I don't know how this would work for your resume, but you might want to try something similar if that's at all workable and if you can come up with a section header other than "buzzwords" so as not to make it too obvious what you're doing. ;-)
