Hehee. Actually I found what looked like a pretty cool job, at one of the prisons. They would train you in various security skills (including firearms), but the downside would be that you would then have to, well, work at one of the prisons. I'm not interested in doing that, although I did wonder briefly whether it would be possible to apply, get the job, do the training and then quit. (I decided the answer would be "no".)

I have applied to a few other government jobs, though. Mostly just boring office work.
