Well, the first part of my name comes from some early sort of Scandinavian language that means something along the lines of "honorable ruler" (a cognate of the second syllable is the German word "Reich" meaning "empire" and similar meanings). The second part means "from Sleat", which is some part of some other part in Scotland that my family's from. I don't know what "Sleat" means, though, although ultimately I'm sure it has to mean something.
