Well, I rather jump out of a 23-story window (Yeah, I know...that'd kill me or leave me very very injured) than get a shot or have that needle come near me. Well, come next year (my senior year of high school), I have the opportunity to spend most of my time at a local college. Since it deals with animals, one of the requirements is to get a set of 3 rabies shots. A lot of my friends have told me to take some of them with me when I go to get them. That'd be great if I could take them. I'll have to get them on the first day since the college is willing to pay for them. So I was wondering if anyone has any ideas to help me out. I know once I get it, I'll be fine after that and will be able to get shots. It's just the first time that is the hardest. I basically have to face this fear alone. I know it's not for several months, but to me, the sooner I figure out how to face it the better. > > Any ideas??
Is it just needles, or is it any form of intentionally inflicted wound? Would you be afraid of surgery even though you knew you'd be under while you were being operated on?
