Yeah, you're probably right. Part of the problem I'm having is that "generally remembered" truly *is* a pretty nebulous kind of thing to determine, and if a movie is remembered, is it necessarily cherished? I guess it's just that there seem to be an unusual number of arty dramas, of limited appeal by definition, this year. But maybe not even that is true.
