The exceptional theatre program from my college has maintained a high level of annoyance at other programs in the state who pad their audiences for the American College Theater Festival on both the local and regional level. People who doubt their OWN skill are funny. Seems like the faculty would be better served instilling in their students the motivation and desire to give their best performance every time out than teaching to cut corners and get away with substandard work.

Bourne, don't misconstrue this as a personal attack, but wouldn't it be awful is Simon had in the plans "Pop Stars: The Funnies." If (and yes, i know not everyone agrees) American Idol is bad, there are few things i can imagine would be worse than a show full of struggling and dream-filled comedians.

Rowan Atkinson has my vote across the waters, seeing as how i have no exposure to current British comedians. I stand in awe of his mimed drum kit. Hilarious AND impressive. I like that.

For Americans, i have no idea.
