I was actually quite upset that Ireland didn't have someone stamping passports. I flew from London to Dublin, and if you come in from the UK, you don't have to do customs. It did get annoying to have someone stamping it each time I came back to London from a weekend in another country- I have at least 6 different UK stamps because of this. Oh well, at least I got one from France (I had to ask for it).
