1. Al Jolson was played by Larry Parks. William Demarest was a costar.

2. Burt Lancaster. "The Killers" was a forgettable boxing movie.

3.Im-ho-tep. Boris Karloff fans should not miss this one. It was scarry then, but you might be inclined to laugh in the 21st century.

4. George Bernard Shaw adapted his own work to the silver screen.

5. Lisabeth Scott. She will remind you of Veronica Lake, and a dozen other eye candy ladies from the era.

6. Flamingo Road, a movie that is considered by some to be a classic. At the very least, it is watchable.
