I need help... again! TOA

I am stuck ... again! I have all of these items I don't know what to do with. I got the gas canister from Prof. Hawson (whatever his name is). Maybe I'm just slow but how do I get the books from the book store when their too heavy, for the other professor. How I do I get catch the mouse. And what do I do with the broken mail key. I need some help!
Items: 1 rock, map of elkland, backpack, purse, ID card, Hovercar key, T-shirt, gym shorts, tennis shoes, high-heeled shoes, enrollment sheet, mailroom key, picket, course textbooks, mouse trap, crowbar, note from Chris, gas canister, rusty key, doolar bill.

I don't know what to do with this and it is early or late morning.
