I don't think I'm a "shoe person" either- but, like you said, they just sort of accumulate. Unfortunately for me, I don't have money to buy really good shoes just yet, so mine come from Payless. But then they wear out and I need new ones, but I'm too attached to the old ones to throw them away... I think that's how my collection got up to where it is now.
