I learned that well after walking around Seaport Village at the RinkUnion with brand-new flip-flops. I developed very painful raw spot with a few layers of skin rubbed off in between my big and long toe (heh) and was barefoot the rest of the day at the beach. So yeah, I'm in agreement with you there.
