Ah, ok then. I haven't seen Teva as a shoe brand here, although I don't exactly spend a lot of time looking around shoe shops. I never thought of that style of sandal as ugly, though. They're just functional outdoor shoes and are hence not subject to aesthetic consideration.

So if you wouldn't be caught dead in them, what do you wear if you're going someplace where your feet could get muddy, wet and dirty? Sneakers are no good because they take forever to wash and dry out afterwards.
