Well, that's *part* of it... but if that's all he meant, He wouldn't have made such a general statement. And yes, things that He actually *told* us to do... that'a the first test. A "Yes" means "do it", not "pretend it's been done away with". The *second* test is for roots in paganism. A "Yes" is this case means "do not do it".

Of course, those rules only apply if you're following the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
