You won't believe this, but I have my cotton pickin' computer fixed. My grandson came over and I showed him the messages I had gotten on RinkWorks. He read throught them and said, "I can fix this." And he did. It took all afternoon, and some of the time he had too much supervision from his father, and his aunts and uncles, but he stuck with it and now it is back to normal. He also brought over a CD burner and made backups for my picture files. I think I need one of those.

Naturally we opened presents and gorged on food. Everybody had a great time.

But the big thanks goes to those of you who sent how-to information. He couldn't have fixed it without your help.

Do you reckon I'll ever understand these things?
