When I reviewed The Fellowship of the Ring a while ago on this forum, I somehow neglected to mention my favourite scene in the entire film. It's at the very end of the whole affair, after the death of Boromir. Aragorn, carrying two swords and a bow, turns to Legolas and Gimli and says "we travel light." He then picks up a third sword and straps it on.

This is yet more proof of my theory that having more swords makes you more effective in combat.
