I base my search engine choice on how good it is at finding what I searched for. I use Google because it always seems to return the stuff I wanted, and plenty of it. I used to use Altavista a few years ago, until I found Google and noticed it seemed to do a better job. I can't STAND trying to find anything through Yahoo; I can look all day on that thing and not find half the appropriate sites that come up within a couple of searches on Google.
As soon as I stumble across a search engine that is more efficient than Google, I'll start using that one. I don't base search engine loyalty on anything other than results.
