Overall, I liked the movie, but I have two problems with it:

A) Why does Peter Jackson see the need to have Frodo and Sam dragged off halfway to Gondor. All it did was waste time, and make Famimir out to be an crook. (Even though in the book he was one of the few men who weren't corrupted by the ring if they had a change to take it.)

B) Why do the ents have to be such wimps. Its not our war we better go home and hide even though we're 50 times stronger and bigger than everyone else. Its my friend's and my belief that happened to make Merry and Pippen more important than they really were by having them get Treebeard to attack by showing him the destruction of his trees.

These two parts of the movie just caused the movie to be longer in parts that weren't all that exciting. They could've used that time to expand more on when Famimir attacked the troops going to Mordor, or Helm's Deep.
