My wife's mom does that. Years ago, I commented that the fresh green peppers from her garden were really good. She had them on a plate of assorted raw vegetables. Now, everytime I eat at her house, the slices of raw green pepper are on the table. The same thing happened with green stuffed olives, cole slaw, beef roast, cornbread and who knows how much other stuff. Her usual dinner includes two or three kinds of meat, six vegetables, two breads, three salads and three to five desserts. You also get a choice of several beverages. Cranapple juice has been one of the choices recently, because I said I liked it.
To put things in perspective, I need to mention that she spent most of her life as a farm wife and often cooked for hired hands. The rule is that the better the food the easier it is to get workers. They never had a problem with that.
When we stay overnight at her house she goes back about eight o'clock and turns the bed back, but for some reason she never leaves chocolate on the pillow. I guess you can't have everthing. Howard
